3 Ways to Make a Call

How to Transfer a Call |
Cold Transfer (Blind Transfer) |
Starting on an active call, press the Transfer/Conference key , dial the 4 digit extension number or dial 8 - 1 - the area code and phone number then hang up. |

Warm Transfer (Supervised Transfer) |
Starting on an active call, press the Transfer/Conference key, , dial the 4 digit extension number or 8 - 1 - area code and phone number, when the 2nd party answers announce the caller, then hang up. |

Transfer Direct to Voicemail |
Starting on an active call press the Voicemail key , dial the extension number of the voicemail box you want to transfer to, then hang up. |

How to Conference Multiple Calls |
Starting an active call, Press the Transfer/Conference key. Dial the 4 digit extension number or the phone number (8 - 1 - area code and phone number). Press the Transfer/Conference key. All 3 parties will hear a tone then all 3 parties will be connected. The LCD screen will display “3 PARTY CONF”. To add more parties to the call, repeat steps 1 to 3. Note: A conference call may have up to 8 parties. |

Do Not Disturb |
How to Activate |
Press the key labeled Do Not Disturb on the LCD screen. The key will light up and calls are sent to voicemail (by default). |

How to Deactivate |
Press the key labeled Do Not Disturb on the LCD screen. The key light will go out and calls will ring in as usual. |

Speed Dials (Personal) |
How to Program |
Press the Menu key . Press the key labeled Settings on the LCD screen. Press the key labeled Programmable Keys on the LCD screen. Select the key you would like to program. You may scroll over to page 2 or 3. Choose the feature you would like to assign Speed Call or Private Speed Call. Press Edit Info. Enter the Label using the key pad or on screen options. Press Edit Number. Enter the number. The number may internal or external. Note: if the number is an external number remember to enter 8 1 area code and number. Press OK, and press Save. |

How to Use |
Press the key that you have programmed, and the system will place the call. |

Phone Book |
Press the softkey labeled Phone Book on the LCD screen. Using the keypad type the last name of the person you would like to look up. Press the softkey labeled Lookup to search. And continue to use the softkeys to Call, Next, Backup, or Cancel. |

Call Forward |
How to Program |
Press the Menu key . Press the key labeled Superkey on the LCD screen. Press No until CALL FORWARDING? displays. Press Forwarding. Press Review or Next to scroll to the next message. Press Change Key. Press Program and enter the number you want to forward to. Note: if the number is an external number remember to enter 8 1 area code and number. Press Save/Off and press Cancel twice to exit. |

How to Activate |

Call History |
From the key on the LCD screen |
Press the Call History key on the LCD screen. Press Yes for Missed Calls or No to move to the next option. Other options include Answered Calls, or Outgoing Calls. |

From the Menu Key |
Press the Menu key . Press Call History on the LCD screen. Use the softkeys to review Missed, Answered, All, Made, or Delete List. |

Customizing the Phone |

Ring Tone |
Press the Menu key . Press the key labeled Superkey on the LCD screen. Press No until RINGER ADJUST? displays. Press Ring Adjust. Press Ring Pitch or No to move to ADJUST VOLUME. Note: You may also adjust the volume when the phone is ringing using the up and down arrow keys. |

Volume |
The up and down arrow keys adjust the volume for whatever is active. Including the speaker, handset, or ringer. |

Font Size |
Press the Menu key . Press the key labeled Settings on the LCD screen. Press the key labeled Text Size on the LCD screen. Choose Large Text or Small Text. Press Save. |

Brightness and Contrast |
Press the Menu key . Press the key labeled Settings on the LCD screen. Press the key labeled Brightness and Contrast on the LCD screen. Make adjustments. Press Save. |

Screen Saver |
Press the Menu key . Press the key labeled Settings on the LCD screen. Press the key labeled Screen Saver on the LCD screen. Make adjustments and press Save. Note: Screen saver sets the Dim Level (screen brightness) for when the phone is idle. |

How to Initialize Voicemail |
Press the Voicemail key and follow the tutorial. Enter the default passcode, 1111. Enter a new Passcode. Note: New passcode must be 4 to 10 digits. Record your personal greeting. Record your name announcement. Note: All of the steps must be completed before you can start to retrieve messages. |

Internally (From Your Phone) |
Press the Voicemail key. Enter your passcode. Press 7 or P to play the first message. |

Internally (From Another Phone) |
Press the Voicemail key. Press the * key. Enter your mailbox number (extension). When your greeting begins to play, press the * key. Enter your passcode. |

Externally (Direct) |
Call your phone number, when voicemail answers press the * key. Enter your passcode. |

Externally (Auto Attendant) |
Call the main number, when the system answers press the * key. Enter your extension. When voicemail answers press the * key. Enter your passcode. |

Message Navigation |
While listening to a message you may navigate and pause the message. |

Extended Absence Greeting |
The greeting is a greeting that can be set to be played instead of your normal “personal greeting”. The advantage of setting this greeting up, in lieu of changing your “Personal greeting”, is that you can delete it when you are no longer absent from the office and not have to change your personal greetings. Extended absence greetings can be used if you are traveling, on vacation, or out for an extended period of time. |

How to Activate |
Press the Voicemail key . Enter your Passcode. Press 8 for User Options. Press 4 to change your greeting. Press 4 to change your Extended Absence Greeting. Press 7 to record your Extended Absence Greeting. Press 5 to listen to your Extended Absence Greeting. Press 3 to enable your Extended Absence Greeting. Press 9 to exit. Notes:
